3. Determine
what Continuing Education credits you already have that will qualify
for renewal of your license, and what
additional credits you will need.

Qualifying
CE activities are those that were:
1. Pre-certified by FDA/CE Certifications for MAMFT.
2. Offered directly by AAMFT.

4. For any
non-MAMFT certified CE activities
you have already taken since the last date of your license being current,
apply through this organization, FDA/CE Certifications,
to receive credit retroactively.

Fees
to review CE activities for past renewal cycles are:
- $40.00 per renewal cycle (2 year period).
- Plus current hourly rate for additional
research & preparation of materials if not completed by applicant,
including but not limited to: identifying renewal cycles needing credit,
determining which CE activities to apply toward each renewal cycle,
correcting any aspect of applications, confirming attendance at each
activity, determining MFT content of activities presented for credit,
communication with applicant, requesting clarification of illegible
entries on the application, completing missing information on applications,
obtaining replacement payment for bounced checks.

5. For any
additional CE credits you need to complete your renewal, for any renewal
cycle(s), register for MAMFT pre-certified
CE activities or FDA/CE's "Read
for CE" program.

No FDA/CE fees apply to pre-certified activities.
- "Read for CE" fees apply (see
registration page).
- Hold your verification of attendance for these activities and submit
copies to the Board directly along with your license renewal application.

6. If you
cannot take any MAMFT pre-certified activities, take other professional
mental
health continuing education activities, and
submit applications to FDA/CE to have these activities reviewed for
possible certification, retroactively.
